Nemesis, the famous rollercoaster at Alton Towers, has completed retracking since its closure in November 2022. Here is everything you need to know about this historic ride.
The ride originally cost £10 million, featured a revolutionary design at the time and continued to attract tourists from all over the world. According to Alton Towers’ Website, Nemesis is a “a fearsome creature, fury heightened and more uncontrollable than ever before”. The ride has had its 716m track redone.
Over 52 million passengers rode the original ride, which covered over 800,000 kilometresthroughout its existence, according to the park.While carriages rode beneath the track on one of the first inverted rollercoasters ever built.
